ORDERING
Ordering your selection
on-line is easy. Simply add the products you would like to order to your
selections as you browse the site then "check out." First you sign in
to open your order account. Provide your address and payment details submit
your order and it's done. You will immediately receive an email to confirm
that your order has been submitted together with an order reference number.
Please check the confirmation carefully to ensure that the details of
your order are correct and let us know immediately if any changes are
required. Keep a note of your order reference number so you can track
the progress of your order at any time.
Alternatively, you can call e-mail us at Buy@EuropebyNet.com and one of our customer service associates
will contact you to take your order over the phone.
Once we have confirmed your order with our suppliers, typically within
two working days*, we will notify you by e-mail of the estimated delivery
date. Please note that delivery times may be subject to manufacturing
delays beyond our control, but we will notify you immediately if we foresee
any delay beyond the anticipated delivery date. Please also note that
at times we may be unable to supply particular products to certain countries.
Please be sure to measure your doors and windows carefully to be sure
there is a way to fit your purchase into your house. If your purchase
does not fit and needs to be redelivered additional charges will apply
(see "Delivery"). Also,
while we have made every effort to make the colors on screen as close
as possible to the actual product, we cannot guarantee an exact colour
match as colors will vary depending on your screen settings and resolution.

*For payments other than by credit card we will wait until the funds
have cleared before confirming your order with our suppliers.
- I'm looking for a product
you don't have. Can you get it for me?
We are continually adding products and manufacturers to
our catalogue. But if you know what you want and we don't have it on our
site at the moment we will do our best to get it for you! Try our Custom
Search and we will let you know within two working days if
we can get it for you when and at what price.
We do not sell dishwashers, fridges, washing machines, televisions, video
recorders, or other electrical appliances.
PAYMENT
As in any shop you can pay in a variety of ways. Convenience
and security are our priorities. Our banking and credit card processing
services are provided by Barclays Bank.
We are happy to accept any of the following methods of payment:

- Debit cards: Maestro, Connect, Solo, Delta
- Personal or bank cheques

If you would like help with the instructions to send to your bank click
here and then send a duly completed and signed copy of our

- When is payment required?
For products normally available in less than one month, full payment is
required at the time of ordering. For other products which are manufactured
to order (this includes most furniture items) we require payment of a 30%
deposit when you place your order. The balance is paid when the manufacturer
confirms completion of your order. This is about a week before delivery
for ground and air shipments; for sea shipments, there is a longer gap between
the final payment and delivery.
If you are paying by credit or debit card, the full payment or deposit will
be charged to your account at the time you place your order and your order
will begin being processed immediately. If you choose to pay by cheque bank
wire transfer or cash your order will be processed when the payment has
cleared. We do not accept cash on delivery.
For products involving a 30% deposit we will notify you by e-mail when the
second payment is due, and if you have paid by credit or debit card we will
charge the balance to your account at this time. Where payment is by other
methods please ensure that payment is cleared seven days before the expected
date of delivery to avoid any delays.
- Are my credit card details
secure?
Payment security is of the utmost importance to us. All payment information
is encrypted using industry standard SSL (secure socket layer) encryption
technology. A lock appears in the corner of your screen on the payment pages
of our site to tell you that all sensitive data is being transmitted securely.
DELIVERY
- Your prices are great.
But how expensive is delivery?
Europe by Net delivers worldwide.
Delivery is free to your door to most addresses within Western Europe*
on orders over £750.
On smaller orders and orders to other Western European countries, the US
and some other destinations, transport
costs are calculated prior to checkout and are displayed as a line item
in your total bill. For countries for which transport costs are not calculated
automatically on our site, please contact
us for a delivery quote.
*UK, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands,
and Switzerland
In line with our overall philosophy of keeping our charges to a minimum, our standard delivery service is a one-man service. This means that when items are bulky our service is “curbside” -- many of our customers prefer to save the money we would have to charge to cover in-house delivery and carry their items inside themselves. (We have been advised by customers that the promise of a good tip often works wonders, but that is of course a matter between you and the delivery company and does not involve us.)
If you order a large or heavy item and you are unable to arrange the necessary manpower to bring it inside yourself, we will be happy to arrange for extra help but there will be a charge for this, which will depend on where you live. Please call or email us for details. Please also let us know well in advance if there are any particular challenges in terms of delivery to you (narrow streets or staircases etc.) as these can also incur extra costs.
Extra services, such as evening and weekend delivery within Western Europe, specialist delivery services (i.e., window removal, cranes etc.) or shipping and transport outside Western Europe are also available at additional cost. A "White Gloves" service including unpacking, basic assembly, and positioning of your furniture as well as removal of all packaging materials, is also available in many areas; the charge for this service depends on the type and quantity of items you are ordering and the amount of assembly desired, so please e-mail us at Deliveries@EuropebyNet.com and we will be glad to help. You will find the prices very competitive and the convenience of doing it all from your home or office compelling!
- How long does it take to receive the product?
Our deliveries within Western Europe are generally by ground transport. For items which are not manufactured to order delivery normally takes place within 2-3 weeks of ordering -- we will give you an estimated delivery date when we confirm your order by e-mail within two working days of receiving your order and deposit. Custom made orders normally require six to eight weeks for delivery although some manufacturers of particularly hand-worked goods may require a bit longer. We cannot guarantee delivery times as they may be subject to manufacturing delays beyond our control but we will notify you immediately if we foresee any delay beyond the anticipated delivery date.
Deliveries outside the EU may be by air or by sea depending on the volume of the order; these deliveries may take longer than the periods indicated on the site.
- How will I know when it's coming?
Small items will be delivered without the need for a special appointment. You may choose to have them delivered to your place of work as well for added convenience. All deliveries however require a signature upon receipt so please allow for this when specifying your delivery address.
For larger shipments our transport agents will contact you directly a few days prior to delivery to arrange a convenient day and time for the delivery to your home. Evening and weekend deliveries are usually an option (see below for details).
Please ensure that someone will be home to receive the order if a time is pre-arranged, because you will be required to pay a re-delivery cost of
£75 if a second delivery is necessary! This charge will also apply in the event a second delivery is necessary because your purchase could not fit into your house (in addition to the cost of any special services required for window removal etc). A charge is also made for changes to the delivery address after the goods have been shipped, which depends on the size of the shipment and the specific change involved.
Our on-line Order Tracking facility makes up-to-the-minute information about the status of your order available to you 24 hours a day. In addition if you have any queries about the status of your order or delivery times you are welcome to contact our customer service associates by e-mail (Deliveries@EuropebyNet.com) and quote the order reference number you were given when placing your order. We will be pleased to answer your queries.
- I work all day. Can you deliver when I am at home in the evening or at the weekend?
In many cases we are able to organise evening or weekend deliveries for an extra charge to help fit in with when you are free! We can arrange this in a number of countries. Please let us know if you wish to take advantage of this service by contacting Deliveries@EuropebyNet.com.
Only if we are unable to supply a particular product. Then we may pass your enquiry to a partner company to see whether they can provide a quote for you.
