I've been meaning to get
back to you for ages to tell you how VERY happy we are with your service.
First of all I was absolutely thrilled at how it looks - I would say
the photographs on the website can't do it justice. As for the service,
it arrived exactly when you said it would, and it was helpful to be
able to put down a deposit and not have to pay the full amount until
a week or so before it arrived. So, thank you for enabling us to buy
something we would not otherwise have afforded if we'd had to pay
an expensive designer shop, and probably would not have had access
to, anyhow.

moved to London and started Europe by Net, which sells, among other
things, furniture by B&B Italia, Cappellini, Edra and Poltrona Frau;
lighting from Flos, Artemide and Ingo Maurer; drink trolleys ($400
to $4,880) and kitchen taps ($132 to $286).
Items average 35 percent off American retail prices and delivery service
is provided. The leather Alfa
sofa from Zanotta is $3,579 rather than $6,380 in New York
stores. Add nearly $1,000 for shipping and the saving is still significant;

The money-saving website
Europe by Net, which offers brand-name furniture at enticingly low
prices, has just launched an innovative 'new for old' service. When
a customer buys a piece of furniture from the website, the firm will
remove the old piece and give it to a local charity, wherever possible.
The only charge for this 'waste not, want not' exercise is the cost
of moving the furniture, so everyone benefits.

We were delighted to
be featured in a full page article in London’s Evening Standard. Here
are some extracts:
Fed up with high prices for furnishings from Europe? Then try an innovative,
money-saving website – Europe by Net, which celebrates its third birthday
this summer. Basically the site buys abroad as cheaply as it can,
then transports direct to customers, passing on the savings. The resultant
discounts can be up to 40 per cent.
Today, the website offers around 5,000 products from 80 top brands,
including giants such as Cappellini, Flos, B&B Italia and Poliform.
Predominately it sells furniture, but also some carpets, modern lighting
and chandeliers, bathroom fittings (including a neat line in space-saving
WCs) and wall hangings.
The site is packed with modern classics, but there is high-craftsmanship
traditional furniture, too. Carefully trained staff can talk through
decisions and answer queries. Deliveries – free in Western Europe
on deliveries over £400 – can be done in the evenings or at
weekends. The site offers background design tips, a glossary of furniture
jargon, profiles of leading designers and the answers to individual
queries. If what you want isn’t there, they will track it down and
give you a price (this is called a “custom search”).
