Pierantonio Bonacina
The history of Bonacina Pierantonio goes back over 100 years! Located near the shores of scenic Lake Como, in Northern Italy, the company has for decades been a leader in the design and manufacture of some of the finest wicker, rattan and leather furniture in the world.
While the materials used are natural, almost “rustic”, the level of workmanship, the attention to detail, the beauty of the design firmly place the Bonacina range firmly at the high end of the market. The Bonacina Pierantonio range has included classics like “l’uovo” (the Egg), “la cabina” (the beach cabin), designed by Mary Bloch in 1962, and the “Continuum”, designed by Joe Ponti in 1963.
The production process at Bonacina have always been very manual with the artisans creating pieces which are equally at home in a modern, classical or even traditional setting. Bonacina’s values of elegance, originality and unobtrusiveness are timeless.
