This piece is a very elegant writing desk with two drawers in a style derived from the Regency period. The desk combines decorative elements of the Louis XIV style with the curved lines of the Louis XV style, as seen in the gracious legs. It is hand crafted in Italian walnut and is inlaid with a leather top featuring a gilt border. (Light and chairs shown are not included.)
